Asbestos Removal

Homes built before 1990 often hide asbestos in floor tile, pipe insulation, drywall compound, and ceiling texture. Disturb it during a demo and the job stops cold. We coordinate testing, containment, and safe removal with certified environmental partners, then our own crew takes over the demolition. One point of contact from the first air sample to the final broom sweep.

  • Pre-demolition asbestos surveys
  • Containment and negative air
  • Certified abatement crews
  • Clearance testing before reno resumes
02

Mould Remediation

Mould behind drywall or under flooring doesn't go away when you cover it. It spreads. We open up the affected area, remove contaminated materials under containment, treat the structure, and verify the air is clean before anything gets rebuilt. Because we're also a demolition crew, the tear-out and the remediation happen in one visit, not two contracts.

  • HEPA air scrubbers and vacuums
  • Containment and disposal
  • Source and moisture identification
  • Post-remediation verification
03

Lead Abatement

Lead paint is common in GTA homes built before 1978 and it turns a simple wall removal into a health hazard. We test suspect surfaces before demolition, contain the work area, and remove lead-painted materials safely so dust never travels through your home.

  • Lead paint testing
  • Contained removal and disposal
  • Safe work practices, certified PPE
04

Water Damage Remediation

Burst pipe, sewer backup, flooded basement. The first 48 hours decide whether you're drying a room or gutting it. We remove soaked drywall, flooring, and insulation fast, dry the structure, and treat against mould before it starts. If a rebuild is next, your space is left clean and ready for the trades.

  • Emergency tear-out of wet materials
  • Structural drying
  • Anti-microbial treatment
  • Insurance-ready documentation
05

Fire Damage Remediation

After a fire, the damage you can see is only half the problem. Smoke and soot travel through walls, ducts, and framing. We strip out burned and smoke-damaged materials, clean and deodorize what stays, and prepare the structure for rebuild. Documented at every step for your insurer.

  • Burned material removal
  • Soot and smoke cleanup
  • Odour treatment
  • Rebuild-ready handover
06

Air Quality Testing

Before you buy, renovate, or move your family back in, know what's in the air. We arrange third-party air quality testing for asbestos fibres, mould spores, and other contaminants, with lab results you can hand to your contractor, your insurer, or your lawyer.

  • Pre-renovation testing
  • Post-remediation clearance
  • Independent lab results
07

Trauma & Crime Scene Cleanup

Some jobs need discretion as much as expertise. We coordinate professional biohazard cleanup with trained, certified specialists. Respectful, discreet, and thorough, with the affected area fully decontaminated and restored.

  • Certified biohazard specialists
  • Discreet, unmarked service available
  • Full decontamination
08

Post-Remediation & Deep Cleaning

Every hazardous material job ends the same way our demolition jobs do: broom-clean and ready for what's next. We also handle standalone deep cleans after construction, floods, or fires, including HEPA vacuuming and full surface cleaning.

  • Post-construction cleaning
  • HEPA vacuuming
  • Move-in ready handover

Hazardous material questions, answered.

How do I know if my home has asbestos before demolition?

If your home was built before 1990, assume it's possible. Common spots are floor tile, pipe wrap, ceiling texture, and drywall compound. We arrange testing before any demolition starts, so nothing hazardous gets disturbed by accident.

What happens if you find asbestos or mould mid-demolition?

Work in the affected area stops immediately and the area is contained. We arrange testing, coordinate certified removal, and resume the demolition once clearance is confirmed. Your project keeps one point of contact the entire time.

Who actually performs the abatement work?

Specialized abatement and restoration work is performed with certified environmental partners, managed end to end by Doctor Demo. You get one quote, one schedule, and one crew responsible for the result.

Do you handle insurance claims for water or fire damage?

We document the damage and the work with photos and reports your insurer can use, and we're happy to communicate directly with your adjuster.

Is air quality testing included with remediation?

Clearance testing is part of any asbestos or mould remediation. Standalone air quality testing is also available if you just want answers before buying or renovating.

What areas do you serve?

Toronto, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Oakville, Brampton, Milton, and the rest of the GTA.
